PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

FOAMER BRAND ECOSOLVc6 AR-AFFF Concentrate is formulated fromspecial fluoro-chemical and hydrocarbons surfactant, highmolecular weight polymers,and solvents. It is multipurposefoamas it has application both in class A & class Btype Fires- water-miscible (polar solvents)water-immisciblefuels (Hydrocarbons).When applied over polar solvents itformsa polymeric membrane to help prevent the release of the fuelvapor.Due to high drainage time,it has a better cooling effect.

ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY BEHIND ECOSOLVC6 AR AFFF

As per U.S. EPA SNAP Program [US Environmental Agency 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program], Foam Concentrates should be manufactured based on environmentally friendly C6 Fluorinated surfactant.
FOAMER BRAND ECOSOLVc6 AR AFFF is Re-engineered with Environmentally safe C6 [Short Chain molecules] Fluoro Telomer-derived Fluorosurfactants which neither contains nor breaks down into PFOS and contains only traces of PFOA below the limit of detection [0.5 ppm].

APPLICATION

FOAMER BRAND ECOSOLV C6 AR-AFFF Concentrate can be used with standard & conventional low/medium expansion foam making equipment with fresh /sea/brackish water, either as a solution or through foam induction systems. This unique quality of FOAMER BRAND ECOSOLV C6 AR-AFFF Concentrate makes it suitable for use in special applications like crash Tenders/Monitors/Foam chambers Air-aspirating and non-aspirating sprinkler heads or spray nozzles/Air-aspirating foam nozzles/portable foam Extinguishers etc. FOAMER BRAND ECOSOLV C6 AR-AFFF Concentrate, applied into fixed water spray or sprinkler installations for protection of stores, ware-houses, tanker loading areas, and other local risks involving a spilled fuel fire, has been found extremely effective. Various crude oils, gasoline, diesel fuels, aviation fuels, etc. its excellent wetting characteristics make it suitable in combating Class A fires as well. It can be used with dry chemical extinguishing agents without regard to the order of application to provide even greater fire protection capability.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Handling: No special handling techniques are required. Avoid getting chemicals on you or in you. Wash hands after handling chemicals. Don’t eat or drink while handling chemicals. Storage: Recommended storage temperature is 0oC to 50oC. No special conditions are required for safe storage. The product should be stored in original sealed containers above 0oC and below 50oC and as much as possible it should keep from being washed into surface water.
