DRY CHEMICAL POWDER
Foamtech Antifire Company, we specialize in offering a highly effective and premium range of fire safety solutions. Among our wide variety of products, dry chemical powder stands out as one of the most effective options due to its rapid fire suppression capabilities. Over time, this firefighting agent has gained significant popularity. In response, we manufacture a diverse range of dry chemical powders suitable for extinguishing various types of fires. Dry chemical powder is a fine mixture of specialized chemicals designed to suppress fires effectively. Our powders are suitable for fighting Class A, Class B, and Class C fires, meaning they can handle fires involving ordinary combustibles, flammable liquids and gases, as well as energized electrical equipment.
Flamax ABC type Dry Chemical Powder is very efficiently applied in fighting fire-extinguishing activity. The powder is a mono ammonium phosphate-based agent. Additives are added to the ingredients to make the powder free-flowing, moisture repellent, and Frost resistant. It is very successful on fires involving ordinary combustible materials such as wood, paper, cotton, rubber, and many types of plastics, as well as fires involving flammable liquids and energized electrical equipment. Special high-performance hydrophobic agents are also added to ensure the best water repellency and minimize the risk of powder caking during storage. It is suitable for use in high-risk areas such as refineries, chemical plants, and airfields where superior fire extinguishing capabilities are of paramount importance.
FLAMAX ABC Powder comes in the following variants:
Flamax ABC-20 up to 90
Flamax is a highly efficient BC-type dry chemical powder. It is either sodium bicarbonate [75%-90%] or potassium bicarbonate [70%-90%]-based powder. Additives are mixed to make the powder free-flowing, moisture repellent, and weather resistant. It is effective on fires involving ordinary combustible materials, such as flammable liquids, gases, and energized electrical equipment. Special high-performance free-flowing additives and hydrophobic agents are also added to ensure the best water repellence and minimize the risk of powder caking during storage. It is suitable for use in high-risk areas such as refineries, chemical plants, and airfields where superior fire extinguishing capabilities are of paramount importance.
FLAMAX BC Powder comes in the following variants:
Flamax BC Powder [Sodium Bicarbonate-Based]
Flamax BC Powder [Potassium Bicarbonate-Based]
Flamax Firex is a highly efficient BC-type Firex dry chemical powder. It is a potassium bicarbonate–urea complex reaction-based powder. The powder has a good electrical insulation value & discharge performance (fluidity.) The powder has good stability with more than a 5-year shelf life.
A regular extinguishing agent such as water, foam, or dry chemical powders is not suitable for extinguishing metal fires, especially sodium, potassium, lithium, magnesium, and alloys, because water reacts dangerously with metal at normal conditions.
Foamtech manufactured Flamax Class D Fire Extinguishing Agent for metal fire such as sodium, potassium, lithium, magnesium, and alloys are made in such a fashion to treat any type of metal fire. It is a free-flowing agent & water-repellant agent to get the best-performing powder.
In sodium fires, for example, the combustion of sodium in the air results in the formation of sodium peroxide and sodium oxide. The rate of reaction is controlled by the rate vaporization of sodium and the rate diffusion of oxygen in the combustion zone. In light of these factors, Flamax Class D Fire Extinguishing Agent can cease these factors by fusing at above 650oC to absorb heat from the metal and make a solid crust on the metal surface, resulting in cut-off oxygen and heat radiation. Flamax Class D Fire Extinguishing Agent reacts readily with free radicals of metals and terminates the chain reaction, resulting in a quick and effective knockdown.
FLAMAX TEC Powder comes in the following variant:
l FLAMAX TERNARY EUT
Metal, metal-alloy alkyl, and other pyrophoric fires involved in chain reactions pose special hazards to the firefighting operations. Water, foam, or dry chemical powder cannot be used for fire fighting as these compounds react violently with water and also catch fire when in contact with air.
FLAMAX PYROEX is a dry powder designed for metal and metal alkyl fires. It is a metal base and coated with specialty additives. FLAMAX PYROEX powder extinguishes the flame, adsorbs fuel/heat from the burning compound, and prevents re-ignition. This powder provides a blanketing effect, thereby cutting off oxygen and the heat radiation from the burning surface. Radicals of powder react with the free radicals responsible for the fire propagation. This results in the retardation of the fire propagation chain reaction. The adsorption of the fuel and the heat from the surface prevents re-ignition. The specialized engineering gives FLAMAX PYROEX fast and effective fire-knock down and sealing capability, which cannot be matched by other powders.
FLAMAX PYROEX is tested and proved to be very effective in fire performance tests considering magnesium metal turning and TEAL (Tri ethyl Aluminium) as test fuel.
